An odd thing happened today as I went into an electronic store to try and find some compressed air to clean some devices. As I looked online there seemed to be one only one choice and so I went in to get that specifically. As I arrived at the store I found the section with the item. The only issue? There were way more choices and different brands on display than what was showed on the site. Therefore, I was inclined to want to try and read the labels as to which one would be better or if they were all the same.
This made things confusing as each company had their own marketing lingo saying how it can be used on specific equipment or that somehow theirs had better material. How much different can a can with air in it be right? With all these options though I actually ended up leaving the store without making a purchase because seeing all those options made me want to be informed about each of the brands before committing to the purchase.
Kind of silly for the business where having too many options actually prevented the sale from happening huh? It would have helped if they actually listed all of the options online as well so that a person could do their research ahead of time and not be surprised. Sometimes less is more too I guess you can say.
