Today there was a Halloween event of sort that simply consisted of walking around a park area that was decorated with a bunch of pumpkins and other various characters during the night. I never actually went to this before as the ticket price was almost $20 to enter which sounds kind of expensive. Reading the reviews from people who attended the event last year didn’t seem too enthusiastic as well with the majority saying it wasn’t worth the money.
Despite this, I thought I would see what it was like knowing that in all likeliness it would be potentially underwhelming. Sure enough, everything seemed pretty basic where the walk itself will probably only last 15 to 20 minutes for most and there wasn’t much. It honestly felt like some of the free exhibits that you could walk around and see just out in the city during these times except there are a few more items placed in the same area.
If anything, it’s something small you can bring the family to just for something to do before or after dinner. But it is funny how in cases like these I spend the money knowing it may not be fully worth it just to see what it’s like yet I am usually so frugal when it comes to shopping for necessities.
