Well, it sounds like by tomorrow the mask mandates will be lifted here. So that means a lot of businesses will be removing signs and you will probably see more people opt not to where them similar to before the pandemic happened. But there are still a lot of people who insist that everyone should have to wear them. Which makes you wonder, technically the business could require people to wear them still. But would in this case where you will pretty much never get everyone to agree with your decision?
Generally speaking, I personally don’t understand why you wouldn’t prefer to have a choice as technically if someone covered themselves up completely then it shouldn’t matter what the other is doing. But in terms of a business I would still think it’s better to be neutral in this case and simply leave it up to say the customer to decide. With that said though, I have actually read stories of jewellery stores refusing to let people in with a mask as it conceals their identity should they decide to rob the store. So imagine there where someone actually does need to wear it and they are told they can’t.
Again, there doesn’t seem to be a solution that will make everyone happy. At the same time, another viewpoint is how with the way we did things before all this worked and seemed to be the happy medium. So is it simply a case of people accepting what was perfectly normal before per se?
