Just Throwing Away Old Belongings or Storing Them

I was trying to reorganize some of my belongings the other day in an effort to try and make more room and I definitely have a lot of stuff that could potentially be valuable depending on the audience. For example, old video game magazines where collectors would definitely value them a lot. But that made me wonder, would you be inclined to just get rid of items that you are not entirely sure will have immense value in the future? Or would you simply store it away? I guess to spice up the dilemma for the heck of it, let’s pretend if you did store it you would have to rent some space to do so. Would you keep it?

I do know people who literally get rid of everything that they have n immediate use for. For example, if they ever bought a physical movie or game they would immediately sell it or give it away after they are done as they don’t want to deal with the clutter. They definitely have everything organized space wise that way. At the same time, they definitely don’t have any potential belongings that can shoot up in value within a few years pe se.

Or how about if you have a bag full of wires and chargers from say all the electronics you bought where you can just use one for them all since it’s the same thing. But like there, would you keep those just in case you need them? A lot of companies actually don’t pack items with chargers nowadays as an example. In that scenario I would be more inclined to say just recycle them.
