Recently there was a bathtub that seemed like it was clogged up a bit as the water didn’t appear to be going down at a regular speed. My first thought was to order an item online that I know works based on past experience where it costs about $20. However, the sooner I unclogged this the better. That’s when I walked into the supermarket and saw what appeared to be a similar style product for about $8. So since it was more than double the discount of what I would normally get I decided to buy it.
In using the product everything did seem like the same as what I was used to. However, the product didn’t seem to have done the job as the clog is still present. So I guess I technically wasted money buying this. I don’t do this often fortunately where I would normally stick to the things I know that works.
But in instances where the price seems to be low enough to take the risk per se I think it can be a good idea. Because the other way around, which has happened often, is that I then discover that a cheaper or lesser-known brand actually does the same job than the expensive stuff. So why pay more?.
