When you think about it a lot of the big companies nowadays don’t actually provide products or services themselves. Instead, they simply created a platform to connect people and in return they get a percentage of the sales. For example, Uber is an enormous ride hailing company where they are just the platform connecting drivers and riders. Or other companies that grew into giants such as Alibaba didn’t have any inventory themselves to sell but simply connected suppliers and buyers.
It’s just kind of interesting to see for certain industries that are growing in demand most people are rushing to train for the skills to offer the service solely because they want to make money where only the strongest will survive as they say. But then you have the few who are avoiding that clash all together and just want to facilitate in connecting businesses and customers for a fee.
Makes you wonder if people are solely doing something just for money why would they overlook that business path to generate an income?
