You usually hear all the time that you often have to do something original in order to stand out from others in whatever it is you do. I was reading an example how when it comes to being different a lot of people try way too hard such as if that guy build a car then that means you have to build an air plane to be successful. There were then some side to side examples of two people that did the exact same things essentially except there were these trivial differences between the two. In this example the only difference the other guy did was that he tried to make his presentation a little more entertaining by adding a pet in the background.
Even I was thinking “how can something as trivial as that make a person stand out?” Then again, I guess it is no different from other things that I have seen such as people simply using voice changing software as they talk which oddly enough is good enough to stand out in many scenarios. Guess it goes to show that the ideas that you think may be too simple to work, so to speak, may be the solution you are looking for.
