Just Asking Every Business You Can Think of

Usually when people try to find venues to conduct some kind of business a lot of people are simply afraid to ask the owners to see if it is something they would be interested in. That’s why it kind of surprised me when I met a person who just moved here and had a business idea. His action was to just immediately phone all of the businesses that would potentially be a good fit and see what they would say. It’s surprising as I would imagine most people would think that is too risky where if someone hates the idea then you will forever be blacklisted.

His mindset towards it though was that his ideas would technically benefit the both of them and so it’s just a matter of contacting as many businesses as possible to see who is actually ready to do business with you now. The advice I have often heard is that you should research the people you are contacting in order to increase the chances of a response. But in this case it’s basically the seashell approach which evidently worked for him too.

I guess it’s one of those there is never only one right way to do something. Whether it be cold or warm marketing I guessit’s just a matter of doing something and believing that what you offer has value that people will benefit from.
