This is always a nice surprise when I visit the supermarket as I have a habit of looking at the clearance section before making any purchases as you never know what you may find as the deals could be too good to pass up. In this case, there seemed to be so many good deals for under one dollar that it makes you wonder if it is an error. For example, various name brand granola bars for 94 cents. I usually only buy them if I see then on sale for under $2. But under $1? Sold.
There were a lot of cereal as well for 94 cents and my first thought was it was expired. But it actually was good for almost the whole 2026 year.
They even had these boxes of instant rice for 44 cents. I would completely avoid those usually as buying the large bags of rice is just so much better value. But at that price people who usually consume little rice but will buy these instant ones from time to time should clear the section.
Even if you don’t buy these items I’m sure you could make some people happy with those deals.
