High Paying Jobs Through Practice And Hustle Route

I was thinking the other day as apparently there is a huge shortage of talent for jobs that simply require labor to the point that many companies are willing to pay premiums just to find help. For example, something like a construction job or even basic cleaning services. In many of these cases one does not require a huge resume or an expensive education. The irony is, because of the demand a person that failed high school could actually make more than someone who say graduated from university and has say an office job.

Then the other day I was looking at how much a real estate agent got paid for one sale during the real estate boom. Now this person originally became a real estate agent because it was low level entry and they literally didn’t do it because of say passion but thought they could make a lot of money for a career. Sure enough, in this one case he got about $20,000 commission for essentially listing a property online and having a one day open house. Good market timing I guess. Like there, his profession didn’t require say a bachelor’s degree versus gaining experience and then trying to stand out.

Again, it’s interesting to think about as we essentially graduate school with the mindset that any job that doesn’t require some hefty education must pay low wages when that is not the case. I think like here it’s good to keep an open mind where even the jobs that simply require your time and effort can be a lucrative career. Automatically dismissing these types of work may not be wise.
