I was thinking today with the news recently of Elon Musk buying Twitter one criticism is that he will now have to sacrifice his attention from his other businesses. Essentially, there is no way one can run so many different companies while giving them all the necessary attention and resources for it to grow. He does own Tesla and Space X which are pretty big companies on its own. But that’s what made me wonder where if he can create two companies like these to where they are at today at once will a third one truly be impossible?
I am almost inclined to say it’s more about setting up the right structure while finding the right talent which I would think you have to say he is good at to get to where he is. It’s not exactly the same, but some people run dozens of Internet sites where they all generate the owner money everyday. Like there, if they have a good system in place then for the most part it is self sufficient.
I think the problem arises when there is no choice where you have to be present all the time at a certain operation. That’s where the tricky part would come from in regards to the time management. I wouldn’t ever rule out the possibility that someone can run multiple operations though.
