2006 felt like it just flew by. I’ve accomplished a lot this year and I expect 2007 to be a very aggressive and productive year for myself as I have a lot of big plans business wise. Of course, I won’t forget about blogging as well and I’m glad that the design change has made this blog a little more user friendly and it seems to have made people feel more comfortable in contacting me. If anything, at least it shows me that there are actually a lot of real people out there that read this blog and I hope to be able to continue to help others as intended when I first started this whole blogging experience. Looks like the biggest spike in traffic was due to the canceling an AOL account post back in June which carried on through July. I must say, it was one of the more shocking things that I have seen also. On average, it looks like there are about 539 people a day who read my blog. While I wouldn’t consider that a crazy number by any means as that is a fairly minuscule figure compared to my business sites, it is still amazing on how just doing something that you have passion for can translate into making something successful. The other thing that this tells me is that there are sure a lot of lurkers out there and maybe I’ll try to do something to encourage user participation as it is always interesting to meet new people and may even give me new topic ideas to blog about.
