So tomorrow is Halloween and this usually means people will start to buy a lot of candies from various stores to then giveaway to all the kids. I was remembering one funny thing about it for this year where I know a person who worked at an event and because they couldn’t get rid of all the packaged snacks and candies they were told to just take it if they wanted it. Most of the people said no thanks as there is no way they could eat that much. One person though had the mindset that he would take a few boxes to then handout for Halloween. That way, he doesn’t have to spend anything and the kids are still getting the candy.
I was thinking how most people probably wouldn’t even think of that as an option even though it make sense. Usually in these cases you would think of it only for your own self consumption. Guess you can say in this case you can save money by thinking of others too ahead of time. It will be funny to see the reaction of the kids that get those candy too as they were specifically made for a particular company and that event. Makes me wonder if they would even eat it as it is like a special edition product of some sort which a lot of kids recognize and are enthusiastic about.
