There has been a ton of news lately how the two companies AMD and Intel have been going after each other where AMD seems to be coming out ahead when it comes to computer processors that give you the best value for your dollar. One interesting thing was how AMD has this product called the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3990X which is supposed to enable so much more fluid multitasking since there are so many processes happening at once.
But funny enough this is a common thing as when you use it on most common computers that have things like Windows 10 apparently the operating system hasn’t been updated to optimize the use of all these functions. Imagine having an army of one hundred people reading to go to work but your door only allows one person to enter in at a time with it only being able to fit in 10 people. Kind of a waste of manpower there right?
So in this case it’s not surprising that most average people would think just buying the best and most powerful will give you the best results. But in common cases like these you could be buying something that simply can’t be used to its full potential as of yet. Something to think about before spending so much money on the latest and greatest per se.
