I was checking clearing out the loose change in my pocket today and I realized that one of the quarters I received as change from a machine had this interesting poppy image on it as you can see here:
It seems like it is embedded into the quarter and was made as a way to honour people who have worked in the forces. This is the first time I have ever seen this personally and don’t remember hearing anything about it.
I guess I’ll keep this one in the collection area and do some research on it later.
