There was this person I was talking to the other day who mentioned that he had to go to work to make some money in order to pay the bills. I guess like most people he wasn’t too excited about it. Interestingly enough, I found out that what he called “work†was playing online poker. Just for the record, he does work a more conventional job too.
I just thought times must have changed pretty quickly for a person to consider online gambling as a job of sort and to be that confident that they can consistently win. I’ve heard the arguments before too such as how some people don’t see this as being too different compared to say people who rely on investment dividends. Because like with that I guess you can say it is a gamble too.
I personally treat these types of things like a lottery. Basically, if you gain something financially then great it will be more money in your pocket. Seems a bit too risky to heavily rely on it as a source of income. Unless like with the dividends example you are getting thousands monthly from making a really good investments.
