It was announced recently here that due to concerns of increasing virus case numbers restaurants and other indoor businesses essentially are restricted again to the point where you pretty much need an outdoor setting if you want customers to stay at your business. For many this could mean the final blow to their business. Having already gone through a year of hardship with no end in sight thus far this is the final nail in the coffin for many.
But it raises that question I had before where if your industry is getting killed due to regulations, would you feel it’s time to potentially start a different business as opposed to just trying to adapt with what you have in hopes of some kind of stability? I would think this would be a good time to start diversifying as a serous backup or alternative means of running a business to make a living.
It would be similar to working at a job for a company where hours are being frequently cut. Like there I would think it’s a good time to start looking at other means of generating an income. It’s kind of crazy where after a year the restaurant business is still getting hammered.
