Summer is coming up tomorrow and usually for many summer is when people go on vacations in anticipation to return to work during the busier seasons due to things like bringing their kids to school. It was kind of interesting to hear from some people though how they viewed summer as a time be more carefree about finances such as the weather justifies it more to start dining out more as opposed to say winter where it is cold and you want to stay in.
Maybe it’s just a lifestyle, but I find that every season has like those weeks where there is some kind of occasion or event where if you mismanage your funds you can easily make more difficult on yourself. Therefore, in terms of budgeting and managing money it seems like it is business as usual. The only real thing that changes in my mind are the opportunities that are available during the different seasons. Example, maybe instead of spending twenty dollars going out to the movies during a rainy day that the summer will give you more opportunities to spend the twenty dollars on an outdoor attraction.
Similarly, usually this means different business opportunities as maybe before when it is cold everyone wants something hot to drink and now during the summer people want cold beverages. Should maintain a similar healthy attitude in terms of how you manage money while just keeping an eye open for different opportunities I say.
