While at the supermarket today I was at the fruit section where for the most party all the prices and offerings seemed pretty basic. What caught my attention was how there was this variety pack of sort that was essentially three apples, oranges and some grapes. However, what was really surprising was the price as it seemed like you were paying a $2 premium just by having this bundled up for you. I was thinking how you could literally just buy the items individually and creating your own pack where ultimately you are getting more.
I personally find in most cases that if it is a store generated package that it’s usually more expensive as opposed to a factory created one such as candy variety packages. I think the main exceptions that come to mind are things like those tiny cereal boxes as they just seem ridiculously expensive compared to a regular box of cereal at the supermarket.
