I was recently watching this show that had a bunch of contestants where for the most part they were average people. There was one person that happened to be an online personality of sort. Everyone was in this for the money in many ways and obviously only the winners would get it. What was interesting to me was how this person was re-broadcasting what was going on in the show through his own medium. Essentially it is like a commentary of what one experienced.
The thing is too he was making a lot of money this way as naturally people who were interested in the show would be interested in what he had to say as well. So win or lose in the actual competition he would still walk away with a lot of extra income as he attracted his own sponsors this way. What I liked about that is that he set it up in such a way where he made sure that his efforts could produce two products at the same time to better guarantee that he would get something in return.
A very good mentality to have where you always want to try and leverage your efforts in as many ways as possible to increase your chances of creating a gem.
