There is a bunch of news recently how Russia may start to invade Ukraine which means multiple countries will get involved in a potential world war. There was even various article here how Canada should brace of a cyber attack which could mean everything from energy to the Internet could go offline. Many people prepare for natural disasters like an earthquake, but do you ever prepare for a shutdown of your life do a world war?
It’s not something I ever really planned for. Although one could argue if you went through the pandemic of staying home as an example then it could be the same. It does make you think how skills such as growing vegetables which seems like an undesirable skill can be valuable when you no longer have the options of say the convenience of a supermarket.
A lot of wealthy people invest in items such as farmlands as well. Sounds uncool during regular times I bet. But very valuable during potential disasters like these huh? There is always so many potential obstacles in life and you can’t simply invest for every situation in the universe.
