Alright, so it is the elections day here in Canada and I recently just submitted my vote. Maybe I just went very early, but there wasn’t a line up or anything when I was there. They sure were stricter this year too when it comes to voting as the requirements this year was that people had to bring some kind of photo ID. Apparently that gave a lot of people hassle.
One thing that was interesting was how one of the party in the riding was named the “Work Less Partyâ€. This main issue seems to be about the economy here too and so I believe a lot of people voted with that in mind. There wasn’t really any party in particular that I favored this time around as it was either I liked the party but not the leader or vice versa.
I guess either way, some kind of taxes are either going to be changed or implemented and so whether or not that would hurt a business owner or the regular working family more is unknown. Interesting to see how this one turns out.
