Deals Too Good To Pass Even If It Is Bad For You

Recently I was reading about some deals on chocolates where for whatever reason there seemed to be a store error of sort. Essentially by purchasing a product you would get reward points which is normal in most places. But in this case it was like one would be getting 80% off the item in points which makes you just want to buy everything from the store. It seemed like some people actually did too. At the same time it was interesting to read how so many people who don’t normally eat a lot of chocolate splurged too.

Makes you wonder in these cases such as seeing great deals with junk food would you be inclined to buy it and eat it simply because it is so cheap? Or would you have the mentality that the best deal is not spending money at all? If it was just for my self-consumption I probably would just try and avoid it if I didn’t normally buy these things often.

But when it is this cheap I often think of other things where it would seem crazy not to take advantage of it. For example, buying these fancy chocolates as Christmas gifts. Putting them in an office or party where people normally would pay so much for them. In that sense to me it usually comes down to if I know someone who would love it as they would spend full price normally. If you want to be entrepreneurial in this case you could even sell people a couple of bags 70% off the retail price which still makes you profit and then keep one for yourself as well. When deals are that good you should always think how you can make it a win-win for all.
