I am attending an event tomorrow that involves basically gathering family members so that everyone can see a new baby that has been brought into the world. I guess you can say it’s almost like a birthday party where all the adults buy gifts and such too. The funny thing was I was telling this to a person and they were saying how in their culture they don’t do anything like that as people just say visit the new happy family in question. Therefore, there is no need to say spend so much money on a restaurant and all.
Kind of reminds me of any other holiday too where for the sake of tradition you usually have to plan ahead of time and save enough money to anticipate for such events. Kind of sounds weird when you think about it huh? A savings fund of sort for traditions that cost you money.
