Recently I noticed that a lot of people have been advertising their fitness related services using local community centers as the place where they would conduct their classes in. While I guess it saves them a lot of money for rent, another thing that it was making me think of is how people an save a lot of money enrolling into activities in community centers instead.
For example, I saw one person who already teaches yoga at a commercial location who charges about $80/month for about two sessions a week. At this community centre it looked like the fee was about $75 to enroll into a program which lasted for about 8 weeks for 2 days each week. That’s a pretty good savings I thought. The same went for other things such as martial arts as well.
So if you are looking to crunch some dollars I suppose this is a perfectly logical thing to look into instead of going to a more commercialized establishment to partake in various activities.
