It’s Christmas today and that should mean everyone gets to relax as the shopping frenzy is over. Time to see the smile that you bring into people’s faces as they unwrap the gif that you diligently hunted down for them. But funny enough there are still a ton of people not enjoying the holiday and actually focused on shopping still. Why? Well here in Canada at least tomorrow is Boxing Day and a ton of retailers actually release their sales early. As can imagine that makes a lot of people focus in either trying to line up way ahead of time or being glued to the computer.
For myself, I would usually pass on these sales as I tend to do most of my necessity shopping way before. Even here in Canada it feels like Black Friday has taken over as the champion day to buy stuff at the best price. Every sale afterwards feels like just another weekly sale from my experience. As well, January and February will probably be the next best time for sale items as retailers will receive a huge amount of returns that they need to get rid of.
That means great deals for you. So if you ever feel the pressure to have to shop right on Christmas the best deal may actually be a few weeks away still. For now, have a Merry Christmas and enjoy the day.
