I thought this was kind of interesting as I was reading how various companies have often done business using abbreviations of a longer word or name. However, in a lot of these cases the words made the company sound very local or specific to a certain industry. For example, companies
began to expand globally or had ventured into different industries. Interestingly enough, they openly said that they slowly just identified the company as three letters for example where the letters now have no meaning.
That is something to think about I suppose if you are one of those people who spend a lot of time worrying if your company name will be viable for the longterm. Like in this case making an abbreviation or acronym for it may not be too bad of an idea.
