I have often heard of people posting Christmas day gifts where people will actually shop for the gifts once all the post-Christmas sales come in and givers and get the same presents for a lot cheaper. In these cases the recipient doesn’t mind either as they understand the benefit for everyone. This probably won’t work too well for a child though that expect Santa Clause to arrive right on the day.
So with that in mind there are holidays like Chinese New Years coming up and I actually have been hearing a lot of people ask others if they wanted to celebrate it earlier because if they plan to do stuff such as ordering food from a restaurant it could be cheaper since many places jack up the price during busy holidays. Imagine celebrating a January 1st new year’s dinner on something like December 30th as an example.
Would you actually do that for the sake of saving money if it was only yourself and another person as an example? Because I would imagine for groups this wouldn’t work too well.
