Well today was really odd as the pandemic still continues health officials here released statements on how couples can stay safe during all this chaos. For this topic it was specifically about having sex. Boy did this create a lot of uproar among people. The health officer named Theresa Tam announced guidelines where it specifically suggested that couples should wear a mask during sex.
This isn’t a joke either. It states the following on the site:
Monitoring yourself for symptoms of COVID-19 and not having sex if you or your partner is experiencing symptoms;
Limiting your use of alcohol and other substances so you and your partner(s) are able to make safe decisions;
Skipping kissing and avoiding face-to-face contact or closeness;
consider using a mask that covers the nose and mouth;
Funny enough this actually isn’t new as these guidelines were also published in the provincial center of disease and control. But as outraged as a lot of people were o social media it’s kind of intriguing how entrepreneurs are actually trying to market things like glory holes as that is literally a type of suggestion in these cases for people to have sex.
It’s almost like these guidelines is turning love making into some kind of fetish or something. But it definitely shows how whenever some kind of doctor makes a recommendation of sort you bet there will be people who will be quick to purchase stuff in order to abide by those guidelines. No wonder companies want a doctor to endorse a product huh?
