Being Humble In Creating Ideas

I was talking to a person recently as he really wanted to start this project of his but has procrastinated as he was not confident with the resources he has compared to other wildly successful people. For example, his computer is a lot slower and therefore it limits his ability to produce things quickly with a decent quality. I was then saying to him you have to start somewhere sometimes as when you look back at those same people many of them were no different than himself at the start.

It almost reminds me of creating say movies as so many people assume you must have millions of dollars with hundreds of staff members to make one yet you see there are so many people that started with nothing but the bare-bone basics. I think I even remembered a story of a guy making a whole movie with his cell phone too for example.

I think the key in these cases too is that as long as your approach is a humble one then people will often overlook the fact that your end product may not be as polished as someone who has the resources. So when you think about it your product/idea will be more judged for the content itself, so to speak. Again though, I think the key is to be humble such as not trying to brag as if your product is going to be the best in every way as that will tend to generate more of a per-judging mentality.
