Avoiding Early Store Liquidation Sales

With the Hudson Bay Company closing down a lot of stores the liquidation sales begin of course. But with that said, it’s been common that in these types of initial sales the prices of products are often bumped up to the point where the deals are actually terrible. Regardless, a lot of people will buy items as those sales signs really do a number on people’s emotions to make a purchase. After all, they need to maximize profits.

It’s wise to wait it out until it reaches about its third phase as usually by then you start to see the heavy discounts actually take place. The drawback of course is by then you may not even find anything you want as people may have already bought the more desirable items at a more expensive price. To me though, that just means it’s better to wait for an actual sale. But, there are usually a lot of smaller items you can find.

For example, I was actually looking for some basic items like a lamp and desk organizers which I think should be available still by then. I think the most expensive item if available with a good deal is a portable small vacuum I would want. Either way, don’t fall victim to the buying frenzy for items that aren’t truly on sale.
