This was a common situation I saw today where a person was approached by a company with the promise of giving them all these opportunities if they simply sign over their rights for the work they produced. It seems great for smaller people to get potential growth and support of course. In this case though like many, the company sure had a trail of comments online where people were extremely displeased with them. Everything from predatory contracts to a lack of communication, the general advise was to stay away.
It’s so simple nowadays to do a quick search for real opinions about businesses before you jump in with them. But a lot of people still decide to skip that step. You really shouldn’t as the great thing about the Internet nowadays is there are so many different sites and forums to gather information about companies. Especially if they are a scam, you will immediately notice based on online feedback.
Even business listings on Google reviews nowadays often can give a good representation on how the company really is.
