Finding clearance items in stores can often be a great way to save money while buying products you may need at highly discounted price. The most common items or edible products that are close to expiry or items that are simply outdated and need to be removed. So while walking by the supermarket today I saw this clearance bin.
At first there was bottled water which seems like a normal item. But below it is what got me thinking as there appeared to be pharmacy items such as medicine for colds. I legitimately wonder how many people would be hesitant to buy these kinds of products in a clearance bin as the idea of using say near to expire medicine as an example probably doesn’t motivate a lot of people to make a purchase.
As well, randomly buying cold medicine because it is a good deal doesn’t feel like a wise investment where this is one of those things where you buy it if you need it on the day for many.
