So I received another Google Adsense check in the mail yesterday as you can see here and it was definitely the highest one so far in the shortest amount of time.
It took less than two months to generate an amount over $100, which is the minimum you need to get a check, and this one amounted to $159.63. Again, considering I am doing this very casually that’s not too bad I’d say.
Now the biggest difference this time around is that as you all may know I created a niche site where I was genuinely interested in the topic and decided to conservatively put the Adsense advertisements on it and see what happened. To my surprise, it worked quite well.
As an example, most people who try to make money through programs like these would know that you normally only get a few cents per click like say 5 to 15 cents. You can imagine how much effort it takes to build a site that gives you a decent income through that method.
With this niche site, the average pay rate was well over $1 a click. I know a lot of web marketers are probably screaming at their monitors wondering why I don’t just focus on that site then as more than likely I can probably turn that into a real revenue driver with that kind of number.
To be honest, it’s mainly the time factor. Too bad I didn’t have another set of hands as I’m sure it would have been an interesting case study of sort. For now I’ll just continue run it as intended with the revenue being a “That’s a nice thing to have†type of mentality.
Sure shows again on how there are many ways to generate an income despite your circumstances. This check should be worth at least $200 Canadian too once I convert. Although, again for simplicity sake I’ll just add it to the total as the figure states on the payment. Here is the updated results:
Stock Investment: $800
Web Publishing: $761.00
Million Dollar Term: $100
Affiliate Sales: $91.01
Free Money and Credits: $100
Loose Change Savings: $209.23
Selling Items: $55.64
