Actually Acting Upon Tough Business Threats

I was reading the news recently on how the US tried to deport a bunch of illegal back to Columbia except they were denied flight entry to be able to do so. This resulted in the US immediately threatening to impose things such a tariffs but at first it seemed like Columbia was going to fight it by returning the sentiment of imposing tariffs. Just a few hours later, apparently Columbia agreed to all of the US’s demands.

That just makes you think on how many times people talk a tough talk but when it comes down to it they are simply not confident of their position. Or the other thing to think about is how many times people say they will do something but always don’t actually end up doing anything. Hence, they continually get taken advantage of.

This was a clear example on how you better be prepared to back up your words with action. Otherwise it won’t look good for you in the long run not just for this one incident as people will question you authenticity.
