Trying To Change Business Operations To Outdoors

Sunny drone shot

For the restaurant industry a lot of news I have been reading is how many are requesting for city approval to have outdoor patios and seating where technically transmission of COVID-19 is supposed to be slim outside. So this enables restaurants to have more flexibility when it comes to dining out. But what was interesting is how businesses such as a barbershop was actually trying outdoor solutions too.

They would literally just put a chair outside and start cutting the person’s hair. In many cases to that meant they weren’t restricted to the shop but could literally cut hair anywhere. Although cleaning up is a bit of a mess when you do it outdoors factoring wind and all. Would you actually try this for business such as a clothing store?

For example, placing them outside like how grocery stores lineup fruits and vegetables for people to then bring inside to pay? Some stores actually do this already even before the pandemic. But with that thought I did read how some people tried to take it to a different level such as turning their business mobile where they drive around like an ice-cream truck to find people who wish to shop but don’t want to travel during these times. Finding ways to adapt is important during times like this.
