So today is Valentines day and I’m sure a lot of people had some kind of event planned for the day. For myself, I went to a restaurant with some family members to have a casual gathering. During this I heard someone mention that today one couple was celebrating Valentines day and an anniversary on the same date and how it made it easier organization wise and financially since they can do everything at once.
That’s was kind of interesting I thought as that must be convenient in many ways and I guess you do save money too when you think about it. Would be kind of weird though no? Imagine someone holding back say an engagement date until Valentines day for the sole purpose so that they won’t forget what day the occasion falls on as well to save money.
Then again, some people might just say since there are two special events that day then they expect to get say two times the amount of gifts to make it as if you were celebrating each one individually. Example, someone’s birthday where it just happens to be Christmas too.
I guess that notion only helps if you are mainly say a person that dines out to celebrate an event as I can’t imagine someone saying “Okay, we need to order double the meal courses nowâ€.
