I was thinking the other day as my brother was saying how he went to the states with his family for a quick vacation and they ended up visiting a zoo which I guess entertained the kids and all. That made me think of all the travelling expenses that were involved and how different if any the experience would have been if you were to visit a local zoo.
I think many times you would be surprised at just how much of your own town that you have yet to fully explore. The experience can be just like travelling to a new city in many ways. Not having to spend extra money on items like a hotel can add up to doing a lot more activities.
