This was a funny story. A person was telling me that the other day they went to a restaurant and was with some kids. Therefore, they required some boasters for the kids. Evidently the business did not have boosters or high chairs and so I guess they decided to improvise. Their solution? They essentially stacked two chairs on top of each other and provided that for the children. Indeed everyone thought that was strange and decided to just have the kids sit in a single chair.
At times like that it makes you wonder why they didn’t simply inform the customer that they didn’t have the furniture/equipment to accommodate their needs. Sure would save a lot of face that way too huh? I wonder what a health inspector or some other watchdog would have said if they saw that kind of thing. Then again, maybe things like this would ironically make the business famous.
