One thing that traditionally happens at stores after Halloween is that all the candy is hugely discounted as the businesses needs to get rid of the excess inventory. I have often seen people rushing right when the doors open too in order to snag those deals. But one thing nowadays that many people overlook is that the company’s online site can offer you those same deals earlier.
For example, supermarkets like a Walmart often put the discounted sale prices a few hours before the day ends where you can literally just purchase it online. If you want to pick it up in-store too you can easily just do the ordering this way without the need to fight the crowds in the early morning. Even for Black Friday events I often find that companies have their sale early online many time.
But for general packaged holiday items going online just before the event ends can give you the discount without having to wait and line up at the stores.
