While you can pretty much sell anything I suppose, I did find it a little odd to see at this dollar store that there were packages of rocks that you could buy for $3. Package wise as you can see, they are labelled as garden stones.
It kind of made me wonder for the company that produces this on whether or not it’s a tedious manual process or if they simply go to a specific area with these kinds of stones and literally just grab a handful of them while quickly sorting out what they think looks good. Reminds me of that story I heard on how there was a person who picked out rocks and sold them to people by labeling it as lucky.
These are the types of things for me where it would feel too weird to spend money on as I could easily just take a relaxing day in an area like a beach and simply pick up what I want. But that shows you can make a business out of anything.
