Resisting The Urge To Purchase Items For Minor Intended Use

Today was one of those days where I felt if I had something like a powerful laptop I could have gotten so much extra things done which kind of made me think maybe it’s time to get one. However, I have actually held off for years in doing so and putting things in perspective I still didn’t really need it in the overall picture. But those one instances like today sure make it tempting.

I just personally hate investing thousands in something if all I would use it for is maybe once every two weeks. This would hold true for even larger things large car. Like in that case I would rather just use the public transportation or take a taxi if I really needed it. That has helped me to not spend too much money on stuff that I don’t really need kind of like how people have a closet full of clothes they never wear.

I do use that criteria often where if something is going to cost in the range of the thousands then it has to pass the test on whether or not I am going to be using it say at least 5 days a week. Otherwise more than likely I don’t really need it and can wait for a better deal.
