Reading The Ingredients For Cheap Grocery Items

While walking through the supermarket today I saw boxes of what appeared to be canned bubble tea on sale as the sign indicated that it was 25 cents per can. That’s pretty cheap as it indicates it’s usually almost $2 a can which isn’t far fetched. I was super skeptical though and wondering why the price as so low. The first thing was checking the expiry date and it seemed fine as many times stores need to get rid of expired items. I also checked the brand and it is a known where the discount seems good.

Afterwards, I checked the ingredients and thought maybe this why it was cheaper as usually they come with fairly large tapioca pearls. These ones seem to be smaller as they immediately pop without much need to chew it. The funny thing is too when people read the ingredients they thought there were no pearls at all. But again, I guess it was their own unique creation I guess you can say.

For the price I did try it. The drink was okay overall as my assumption is the ingredients probably are quite a bit cheaper than what you would get at restaurants of course. It’s always good to read ingredients to see what you are truly getting such as sometimes drinks such as juices are just swarming with sugar versus the natural juices which would definitely make me think twice about the actual value of the item.
