Therefore, to be safe I could purchase it a few days later.
Every store is different of course as some places just only offer a 14 day price guarantee. But this is a good reason to delay purchases if you can in order to qualify yourself to get reimbursed if the product drops in price. Usually further into the shopping season companies will have Christmas policies where you can return the item past 30 days until next year as people return or exchange Christmas gifts that didn’t work out as an example.
