I was reading that a person traveled all the way to the other side of the world to meet someone who he has spoken to quite a bit and so they were excited to meet. This wasn’t a cheap flight either as it was well over four figures. The unfortunate thing was he literally stayed for only one day. While that is unfortunate in many ways considering it’s two people meeting after a long time I was just thinking financially it’s probably better to actually spend more to stay longer.
Even if the total cost would be an extra one hundred or so for another day or two in these scenarios I think you have to make the initial large bill actually worth it overall. I’s almost like saying if it costs you $5 to get something delivered from a store it seems kind of wasteful just to buy something that costs $6. Like there I would imagine what you are buying should at least be a good $30 values item or something along those lines.
The same should hold true financially for taking expensive trips too I feel that you are just doing for fun per se as opposed to some kind of business trip. Gotta get the most value out of your investment as opposed to just keeping the price low pers se that may not be the best value.
