Today I saw this item that was apparently on sale where by the looks of it was simply a trash can. Although I guess it had two compartments which made it more special than a regular trash can. But the thing that made me wonder is the price. It states that the regular price is $300 and now you can get it for as low as about $208. But really, who spends that much money on a trash can I was thinking? Especially in this case where there doesn’t seem to be anything revolutionary about it.
For that price I would expect it to compact the trash as an example. But it does make you wonder how often to you spend hundreds of dollars for items like these when a bare bone basic can do the job for way less? I suppose common items could be bags and containers where it’s common that people pay a premium just for things like the design. Or maybe the container has a fancy lid that realistically you don’t really need.
I suppose you can say to each their own as I am sure everyone spends money on things that people can say is not worth it. But for things like this it just seems way too expensive considering the options and the fact that it’s just a garbage can.
