Today I was reading various topics of success and how to materials that people were following in an attempt to try and get some good luck fortunate for their business and life. These people who created the material were very wealthy which of course adds the credibility to the material where if it worked for them then it should work for you. One thing that was interesting though was how there were actually materials for sale on how to win the lottery. Like literally strategies on how lottery winners chose their winning numbers. I think most people would agree it’s just pure luck. But regardless people are paying money for things like courses for it.
That then brought up the point about how many people who simply grind everyday eventually get their big break. You can’t deny that essentially it was persistency and availability where when the opportunity came they were ready to take advantage of it. However, it was interesting to hear the perspective how it basically was luck and timing that the right opportunity arrived. Therefore, if the person is selling you a course of sorts that is like a blueprint to success a lot of people view I as no different than selling courses on how to win the lottery.
I guess in some ways that can be true. The exaggeration would be someone getting extremely lucky with a stock where they become a multi-millionaire. Now with that they make a book on the secrets to investing in the right companies. I guess like there if there truly was a secret I think the person would be applying it every day and making guaranteed money. Like the old saying of if you say you are a psychic then you should be winning the lottery everyday huh? Ultimately it’s just be careful about spending all your hard earned money for something that comes down to luck regardless of how it is presented.
