Paying For Water That’s Free Right Next To You

People often say in a country like this the tap water is literally the same thing as bottled water. So with that in mind you should just save money and drink free water. One thing that was kind of funny was while visiting the local annual fair it’s expected that all drinks will have a huge price tag on it. For example, even a small soda can cost four dollars. As it turns out even bottled water is about four dollars. While walking through the area though there were signs everywhere on where you could get free water at the fair. This ranged from water fountains that are there all year but also in this case special trucks and stations were setup with fountains and taps for people to get free water.

Yet despite this it seemed like not everyone took advantage of this and still ended up paying those crazy bottled water prices. I don’t think it was the belief that bottled water is healthier but rather people never bothered to find out if they can get it for free. The way I found out was I looked at the board maps for fun to see where I should visit. On those maps there were images on where you could get free drinking water. I can imagine most people would go there and wander around like a Costco visit to see what they find.

Some people also didn’t take advantage of it because they didn’t have a bottle for the taps without a drinking fountain. There was a actually a marketplace to buy goods there and at the price of bottled water it’s cheaper to buy a container to then use to put the water in. I guess whenever you are at events like these always check if you can get water for free.
