Today a person was telling me how they saw this great deal for some juice where normally it was over $3 each and today it seemed like it was on sale for almost $2. Seems like a great deal as the person was even saying how she normally buys the smaller ones for about $1. I then went to check out the deal and funny enough the smaller ones that she bought is actually a lot cheaper and better value overall.
As you can see, for this SunRype juice product it indicates that it is 1.36L of juice. The container does look pretty large too compared to the other stuff on the shelves. However, looking at the deals for other juices they are better if you do the math. For example, there are these boxes of juices next to it where you can buy one for $1 and it has 1L of juice inside. So you can buy 2L of juice if you think about it for $2 instead.
You might argue that it is a different brand and all. But know for a fact that same brand often goes on sale for one dollar as well in the smaller containers. Just walking around in other stores, you can see this one in particular says you can buy ten for $10. That’s just to show that it does go to that price point many times and you don’t usually have to buy that many to get the discount.
I guess the packaging size can be a little deceptive if you are just basing it on visuals. Just like how sometimes a bag of potato chip can look so large but there is actually very little product inside. Always read the labels to get a better look at what is truly the best value for your dollar.
