I was kind of surprised today as after just making a good purchase yesterday with a bunch of coupons from a store they gave me another great deal today where I was able to get 30% off on anything and as a well another 20,000 points if I spend $50. But did I take advantage of it, not this time. This is an example of how just taking advantage of every deal can end up making you broke as you are going to keep spending to the point where you are likely to buy things you don’t really need for the sake of getting the deal.
I actually did ask other people if they had any use of it as maybe they still need to do their weekly shopping and this would definitely help with that. However, no one had a need for it either as they also just did their shopping. So, I will end up just letting it expire. It’s an important discipline to have as a frugal shopper since you probably see so many good deals each week.
Plus if the store starts to dump these deals out frequently then you can bet it will come back in the near future for wen you need it.
